Fire on the Mountain Posted October 12, 2015 by admin

Since late August, the cycling community in Wilkes has been taking some pressure for the actions of few in the Brushy Mountain Community. Unfortunately all cyclists, roadies & mountain bikers alike, are being stereotyped as rude and disrespectful. While this is not the case for the vast majority, please be mindful of your actions and respectful of private property.

On the flip side of the coin, motorist and angry property owners need to be reminded to share the road. Whether you’re on a bicycle, a moped or a horse drawn wagon, we all have the same legal right to use a public road.
